Ms. Nikki Bober, with Annunciation Greek Church, provides Blue (food) Bags each week for distribution to many of our Robinson Families. Then, Robinson staff member, Mr. Michael Hill, delivers them to classrooms. Thank you Ms. Bober & Mr. Hill for supporting our Robinson families!

April 2022 FRC Events to Remember

In March, United Way invited volunteers from the local community to read to Robinson students. Read to Me Day promotes youth literacy by helping students discover the love of reading. Thank you volunteers!

March 2022 Dates to Remember

APS kicked off Be Kind 330 at Robinson CLC with a leadership team of two dozen fourth, fifth and sixth graders. Robinson students were the first in APS to learn about Be Kind 330 and its mission which includes incorporating small acts of kindness into daily routines. Superintendent Christine Fowler Mack shared no matter how big or small, kind gestures benefit the giver and receiver. Substitute teacher Christopher Armao led the students in an interactive lesson on kindness. Students pledged to do all they can to further the cause of kindness and the mission of Be Kind 330.

Our December Title I family engagement night, Deck the Halls - Pancakes & Pajamas, was a HUGE success! Special guests included Santa Claus along with his many helpers from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, United Way, and Robinson CLC.

In December, Robinson students worked in teams to learn about solar energy, build solar cars, and demonstrate teamwork before competing in a final race.

Holiday Family Engagement Night When: Wednesday, November 15, 2021 Where: Robinson CLC Time: 3:30 - 5 PM PLEASE PRE-REGISTER by Monday, December 13! (The first 25 families to pre-register will receive a gift from the Family Resource Center) Santa Claus is coming to town and will be here at Robinson CLC! There will be crafts and games for the whole family and a raffle for parents. DINNER will be served to families who pre-register.

6th Grade visits the Museum of Natural History

Student Council asked every student at Robinson to write down something they are thankful for and attach it to our Blessings Trees. Our Blessing Trees are FULL! We really have so many things to be thankful for this year. Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Title I family engagement night was a huge success thanks to YOU, our Robinson Families, for dressing-up and making it such a spectacular event. We would also like to thank United Way, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Robinson Staff for helping with all of the decorations, stations, snacks, prizes, and food. Parent feedback was so positive that we are already planning next year's Halloween Spooktacular 2022!

Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds (Post-Pandemic Education Stabilization funds or ESSER) are provided to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the nation’s students. Funds have been appropriated to local school districts to mitigate learning loss and address the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic. To help the district in planning for strategies and resources, we are asking for your feedback. Please review the ESSER in Akron Public Schools website and complete the feedback form below.
