Dear Robinson Families,

I am inspired by the dedication and commitment of the parents, teachers, and staff of Robinson CLC.  Together, we are continuing to expand our work towards achieving greater academic excellence and success for all students.  Your continued support during the 2019 - 2020 school year is vital for our students.  We encourage you to join us as we prepare for another rewarding school year.  Together, we can ensure that every student has an opportunity to excel academically.

In order to enhance opportunities for student learning during this school year, it is important that your child arrives to school on time each day starting on Day 1:

August 29th for Students 1st- 6th

September 3rd for Kindergarten Students

Other Important dates to remember:
     * Open House and Community Resource Night         Thursday, September 5th from 4 pm – 6 pm
     * Fame Father Walk                                                    Thursday, September 19th at 8 am

Robinson’s school day begins with breakfast from 7:50 am until 8:10 am.  Students will be permitted to line up for class starting at 8:10 am.  Students who are not in their classroom by 8:30 am will be marked tardy.  Dismissal for bus/van students is at 2:25 pm and at 2:30 pm for all others.

“United Way of Summit County has served the children of Akron for nearly 100 years. With our Bold Goals for 2025, we are working with Akron Public Schools to ensure that every student has what he or she needs to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Thanks to the generous United Way volunteers and donors who participated in United Way’s Stuff the Bus school supplies every student in our school will received a free backpack full of school supplies. Each backpack will contain: 1 backpack, 10 pencils, 10 pens, 2 large erasers, 2 pack of crayons, 4 folders, 2 glue sticks, 1 pack of wide ruled notebook paper or 2 spiral notebooks, 1 pencil case or school box.” Volunteers will be coming to Robinson CLC on September 4th at 9 am to deliver backpacks to our students.

I recognize it is a privilege to serve your child/children.  One of the most enjoyable aspects of my job as principal is meeting and interacting with parents.  Excellent communication and parental support helps us provide the tools needed for each student’s academic growth and achievement. Along with teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Robinson CLC by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners.

Please feel free call or email me to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this a great year!

Sincerely,

Anthony S. Lane, Principal
